Ranked as the 4th richest Filipino by Forbes Asia in 2007, Mr. Tan is also the country's most dynamic billionaire. He pioneered the live-work-play-learn model in the real estate development through the Company’s integrated township communities. Mr. Tan is concurrently the Chairman of the Board and President of Megaworld Corporation, Megaworld Land, Inc., Megaworld Globus Asia, Inc., Megaworld Newport Property Holdings, Inc., Richmonde Hotel Group International Limited, The Bar Beverage, Inc. and Yorkshire Holdings, Inc. He is also the Chairman of Alliance Global Group, Inc., Suntrust Properties, Inc., Empire East Land Holdings, Inc., Global-Estate Resorts, Inc., Alliance Global Group Cayman Islands, Inc. Alliance Global Brands, Inc., Emperador Distillers, Inc., Adams Properties, Inc., Consolidated Distillers of the Far East, Inc., and Townsquare Development, Inc. Mr. Tan graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the East with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Atty. Paltongan has served as President of Suntrust Properties, Inc. since April 2007. Prior to the appointment, he served as the Company’s Executive Vice President from the time of the company’s inception on November 14, 1997. He implemented drastic changes under his leadership and paved the way for the robust success of the company. The company’s expansion has been unstoppable under his lead. He is concurrently the President of Suntrust Ecotown Developers Inc. and Sherwood Hills Golf Club, Inc. Prior to his stint in the real estate business he honed his legal skills in Angara Abello Concepcion Regala & Cruz Law Offices specializing in litigation, taxation, special projects and corporate matters. He started his formal career in the early 90's as a Senior Auditor in SGV & Co. A Cum Laude from the San Beda College of Law and a Magna Cum Laude of St. Louis University. He ranked 4th place in the 1994 Bar Examination and 4th place in the 1987 CPA Board Examination.
